Because of chronic lack of leisure time, despite I had been informed that a northern pintail was seen in Poland in winter periods, it never appeared in front of my camera lens. And finally a nice surprise happened to me while visiting Hel Peninsula in March 16 '- first images of the northern pintail were taken. I hope that more opportunities for a change in this gallery will come in winter, because during their passage and migration better pictures can be taken.

Just like with the Eurasian wigeon in Iceland. We saw northern pintails, but never within a distance that made it possible to take good photos. It was my second contact with this species and I hoped for a better result. Well, it is hard to do everything right on one short trip.

Finally, the documentary gallery of the northern pintail goes into oblivion. Quite unexpectedly, in the city park in Poznan, the northern pintail was among dozens of mallards. Although it always kept quite a long distance, my best pictures of this bird were created. The gallery has been rebuilt and goes to the news.
