Birds > Charadriiformes > Spotted redshank Tringa erythropus

info

Another short, coincidental encounter. This time I had planned to photograph the Eurasian curlew, but I ended up taking pictures of the common shelduck and the spotted redshank. Redshanks rose from the ground not to come back to the previous feeding ground. The spotted redshank has a wingspan of about 60 cm, and a weight of 100-200 gram.

Finally one documentary picture has been changed into a whole  series of photos. Still not the quality I am aiming at but a one- photo gallery finally disappears. It has made my day. The spotted redshanks was timid and the pictures are quite cropped. Well, I will have to go back there once again, just as it was  with common greenshanks, green sandpipers and other species, the galleries of which have been  significantly reconstructed.  Now I return to them with the greatest pleasure.

Quite a modest gallery so far, is supplemented with new photos. Unfortunately, the birds were very skittish and rarely approached at the right photographic distance. Another piece of bad news is that among the dozen off Spotted redshank I counted in the area, all of them were already in the resting coat and the photo of the almost all black male, in mating coat is still missing from my gallery.
