info

Adding another species of crane on my website is really something special for me. And adding so rare species of crane is a reason to be doubly delighted. Unfortunately, the picture quality leaves much to be desired, but I had only one opportunity to encounter with these birds and it did not last long. There were not many of them in the area and they have always been seen at great distance, as the inhabitants of the surroundings said. It did not seem strange as far as it concerned cranes, though when I was photographing demoiselle cranes in Mongolia these difficulties were less severe. Probably these photos are the final version of the presentation of this such a beautiful and amazing species of crane, because the blue cranes are found only in this part of the world. After returning from South Africa the number of species of cranes presented on my website has increased by two more species, ie. this one and the grey crowned-crane.
