Photos of the Eastern Spinebill were taken in the Blue Mountains in Australia. It is a small bird, it grows to a size of about 15 centimeters in body length. The beautiful, colorful bird of the family honeyeaters. My first "approach" to the Eastern Spinebill was very difficult. The brushes the bird was sitting in were so dense that only manually adjusted focus allowed me to take a satisfactory picture. The situation changed radically in the other place, located not too far. The Eastern Spinebill had a meal among flowers and I could take a whole series of beautiful images. Although the images are interesting I have chosen a few in order not to make the gallery monotonous.
