Birds > Passerine > Woodlark Lullula arborea

info

Many times I have been looking for this bird in the area where I usually take pictures. And nothing... I have never managed to see him, not to mention shooting. Unexpectedly I have got a call, or rather  a text message from a acquaintance: "there is a wood lark to photograph". Having such a good start gallery of the wood lark, after many earlier failed attempts, I did not even dream of. And here, I have problem how to select the photos to the gallery from such an amount and moreover I have the soundtrack recorded on my own of the voice of the photographed bird. However that was not so easy. We photographed on the edge of a village where the urbanized area was noisy, but with several attempts I was able to assemble the recording. In the case of this bird it is especially important because it belongs to the family of larks, so beautifully and distinctively singing birds. Thus, I have photographed the 334th bird species from the Polish list of 451 species of birds belonging to the Polish fauna. You can find the gallery in the news (04/2017).

My first encounter with the wood lark was so successful that it would be difficult to improve the gallery. Therefore changes I have introduced currently are more to diversify the gallery than to improve it. This time I could watch the bird in Spain. The wood lark once appeared at the waterhole.
