A little funny situation the creation of this gallery. So far, presented pictures in this gallery were included in the gallery green woodpecker. A mistake in identification is hereby removed in the result is a new gallery (Robert thank you for the tip). Small gallery of Green woodpecker is hereby divided into two smaller gallery. Grey-headed Woodpecker achieve a weight of less than 150 grams, with a wingspan of 45 centimeter. Last minute news - 02/2017
The photos of great spotted woodpecker, middle spotted woodpecker and grey-headed woodpecker previously were taken by chance in the parks during random encounters with these birds. This time I was in a well-organized lookouts, where just those listed species of woodpeckers appeared at the feeders, regardless of other passerines. Quality of the new pictures is much better and the gallery of these birds on my website has been rebuilt. Unfortunately there was no white-backed woodpecker which I really counted on. This note is common for the three species of woodpeckers and the great and middle spotted woodpeckers go to the news..
