Parrots are a rewarding object for photographer as their beauty and look cause you are never fed up with them and you are willing to come back to spend your time with them and to record the species in pictures. The farther from human societies the cockatoos gathered in the larger flocks, at least according to what I was able to observe and photograph. The flock of the cockatoos crossing the road can be seen in the places where cars occurs rarely indeed. When I was taking photos in such places the bush was perfectly calm and quiet, only the sounds of nature could be heard. When it happened that a car was coming up the sound of its engine could be heard from afar. I managed to meet the Galah a couple of times, once even in urban circumstances. The Galah is a medium sized parrot (it weighs up to 400 grams), smaller than the Red-tailed Cockatoo and the Sulphur-crested Cockatoo and can be found practically across the whole Australia. This species brought me the associations and emotions just like the Sulphur-crested Cockatoo that I described in the text about.
