It’s a pity that the pictures which make the gallery of the grey warbler are so scarce. I only managed to photograph a few species which are endemic to New Zealand so each successive image makes me happy. What’s more it is a very interesting New Zealand species as it is probably the tiniest bird of both islands. It weighs about 6 grams, which makes it similar in size to our goldcrest or common firecrest. It is exclusively insectivorous.
