info

When being in eastern Australia it is impossible not to hear and probably not to see the Laughing Kookaburra. I recorded this characteristic voice and it is necessary to listen to it while watching photos in my gallery. I was taking photos of Kookaburra many times, but that one I will remember for a long time. Sleeping in Sydney at the early dawn, when it still was quite dark, I heard not too far a very clear voice of a kookaburra. I got dressed in a hurry, fixed my camera set and went out to the terrace looking for birds. Behind the house the area declined significantly so after a few meters at eyelevel I could see treetops . There were sitting on them two kookaburras that a moment ago had announced their arrival. I set the ISO to 2000, aperture to 4, a glimpse at the time - 1/50, not very well, all hope in serial images, and that framing would not be necessary. It is a pity that they sat so close to me, I could not take interesting images of them both together. I photographed every one separately. Being in the bush I heard them many times. At the beginning their sound can be associated more with the sound of a monkey than of a bird. Outside urban areas it was difficult to approach laughing kookaburras and take interesting pictures. Fortunately I met them so many times that I have plenty photos to choose from to create this gallery.
