The presented photos of the Pale Swift were taken in Dubrovnik at the end of May 2022. Until  that time it had been found in Poland twice time. There were a lot of swifts in Dubrovnik at that time. Overhead flew dozens, if not hundreds of birds among which dominated the Alpine Swift. (391/467)

The story of the Pallid Swift is quite similar to that of the Cetti's Warbler. A few years ago, I managed to take my first photos of this species in Croatia, but their quality left much to be desired. This time, in Spain, where flocks of swifts circled overhead, I finally had the chance to improve on those earlier images. After many hours of patient attempts from a hotel room window, the effort paid off. I succeeded in capturing higher-quality photographs and recording an audio track to accompany the gallery of this species. While the gallery isn’t at a “very good” level yet, it can no longer be considered merely documentary.
