I had to write about it, it brought me many emotions. We got up two hours before sunrise to get to the mountains before dawn, where we were supposed to photograph, among others Eastern chat-tanager - very rare endemic, active at sunrise. We arrived when it was still dark, the driver turned off the engine and there was complete silence in which you could hear a beautiful singing every few dozen meters Rufous-throated Solitaires. My recording of their songs, however, probably does not fully reflect this. The quality of the sound is similar to the quality of the photos. When the bird is close, the quality of the recording and the photo is better. It was an amazing spectacle in a still dark forest. Several Rufous-throated Solitaires, as if singing during a trial, each one of them a melancholy song. Fortunately, after sunrise, I managed to take a few photos of the Rufous-throated Solitaires and this is how the presented gallery was created.
