Hummingbirds-text common to species photographed in Ecuador

Another gallery of one flight of a bird that I saw for the first time. The photos unequivocally testify to the genus of the bird, namely, the Pygmy Cormorant. These photos initiated the gallery. This is actually the fourth gallery presenting a species of cormorant on my website. The picture, however, have only a documentary value. Still they are not the worst in my home gallery on my website.

In the north-east of Australia, wherever forest or wetland areas were situated, bee-eaters could be found. I could see  them many times, but they were too skittish to let me come closer. Usually shooting bee-eaters in the area of nesting requires camouflaging. Then it is possible to take worthy photos of this beautiful bird. In Australia photographing was of a different nature, more dynamic and not related to any masking. As for such a "walking" shooting, at least for me, the effect is striking.
