The Red-billed Gull quite commonly occurred in Australia and actually it would be placed in a list of Australian animals with the descriptions of pictures taken in Australia and in exchange oystercatchers should be moved to the specification of animals from New Zealand, because that was where I took most of photos of this species. It sounds quite funny but it really was like that and probably will not change.

Red-billed choughs in Mongolia could be encountered almost exclusively near human settlements. Like black kites, they were quite common. But taking a photo of them was not so easy, as they would usually sit on roofs, pylons, and we know that it is not an interesting perspective to photograph. It was also difficult to record a clear soundtrack of these birds’ voices, as human noises or a tree sparrow’s sounds distorted the recording. Dobre |

This bird was on my must have list of species to photograph during an expedition to South Africa. Unfortunately, the first contact was not successful, two photos from a considerable distance, on a cow. These were not pictures I dreamt about after all. Fortunately, a few days later, we found a herd of buffalo and several giraffes with oxpeckers feeding on them. In my opinion some of the most interesting photos of this trip were taken. Buffaloes, because of their strength and sometimes aggression, belong to some of the most dangerous African animals. Moje ulubione, Bardzo dobre |
