Western Bonelli's warbler
Passerine
There weren’t any problems with western Bonelli’s warblers in the Pyrenees. Not far from the place where we stayed for the night, the warblers occurred quite commonly. As the species belongs to the fauna of Poland, I devoted some time to the western Bonelli’s warbler, and an interesting start-up gallery with its own soundtrack has been created. Bardzo dobre |
Western Capercaillie
Galliformes
I start the texts associated with the landscape of Sweden with the Western Capercaillie. This is not a coincidence. I’ve been planning to see and take photos of this beautiful bird in his natural habitat for a long time.Since it is a rare species in Poland, it was necessary to plan a photo workshop abroad. The capercaille is the largest representative of the galliformes family. Males can weigh more than 6 kilograms and their wingspan is about 1.3 metre. Females are much smaller than males. This information did not make me decide to want to observe these birds. Dobre |

Western Jackdaw
Passerine
The western jackdaw is, next to the rook and the sparrow, another urban bird, which can be very easily photographed. From a certain distance, the jackdaw is seen as a black, perhaps dull bird. Everything changes when you reduce shooting distance or increase focal length. The jackdaw’s eye is amazing. The white iris makes this bird look „serious” and dignified. Their wing covers are dark-blue, the neck is almost grey, and the belly is graphite-grey. Such details can be observed only when you shorten the distance and use properly subdued light (see my notes for the rook). Bardzo dobre |
