I took the first documentary photos of the black tern in Bulgaria. These days (09/2018) I have taken a few photos of similar quality in Mikoszewo, while waiting for a bar-tailed godwit. Unfortunately, the birds flew over our heads several times and left, there was no more chance to take photos.
Last minute news - 09/2019
This time I managed to take more interesting pictures of the Black tern and it was in Mikoszewo. Black terns hunted in the shallow waters near the coast and there were several of them. They were very dynamic and I had to spend many hours trying to take the presented photos. My previous accidental photographic achievements of this species go to my archives, and the gallery ceases to be documentary. This should be noted in the news.
