A swallow-tailed kite, like a condor, only once appeared in the sky. Unluckily so high that by using a converter (1.200 mm) I could only take the presented, documentary photos. Too bad, as swallow-tailed kites are beautiful, medium-sized birds of prey. Their wingspan does not exceed 1.4 meters, weight is about 0.5 kg. Pictures were taken in the north of Argentina. Their distribution area extends as far as the United States of America.

Historia pierwszych moich zdjęć gęsi łabędzionosych przypomina tą z powstaniem zdjęć hełmiatek w Mongolii. Ptaki były bardzo ostrożne i zbyt daleko, aby udało się zrobić lepszej jakości zdjęcia. No cóż, od czegoś trzeba zacząć, choć o zmiany w tej galerii będzie trudno, bo gęsi te występują w Mongolii, wschodzie Rosji i północnych Chinach.

Hummingbirds-text common to species photographed in Ecuador

During the session of the krüper's nuthatch also pictures of the syrian woodpecker were taken. Maybe I  neglected a little this bird, but on this day the most important for me was the krüper's  nuthatch, which gallery could not be completed without my arrival to Turkey. Thus a few images of the syrian woodpecker were created. I was not lucky to come across it in Poland, but who knows, maybe, as it sometimes happens one day I will be given the opportunity and the few pictures initiating the gallery of this species will be complimented.
