I was incredibly surprised to encounter the eastern blue-tongued lizard, while I was leaving one of the parks in Sydney. At first, I was apprehensive at the sight of menacing and fast-moving creature. When I looked closer, however, it appeared to be of gentle disposition, despite having such a threatening gaze. More than this, the animal I met on my way turned out to crippled, as it was bereft of the right forelimb. The most conspicuous feature of the species is its blue tongue that it often exposes for a fraction of a second.

Well, I have already had opportunities to photograph birds in various places and strange circumstances, but having been protected by a security guard equipped with a kalashnikov - not so far. But everything has to happen for the first time. This situation took place in Tanzania. We came to the campsite, which this time turned out to be a small lawn located among trees at an altitude of about 2,600 meters. Well, except for grass and beautiful greenery there was no tourist infrastructure.

Presented squirrels were photographed around Montreal and Ottawa, Canada. They were hungry enough to let people take pictures of them in parks. Commentary for the gray and red squirrel is the same because of treating this gallery more like a curiosity rather than a gallery I would solicit to expand. Gray squirrels are bigger than the red ones. Weight of the gray squirrels can exceed 600 grams, when red ones are 100-300 grams.

Do not return from Australia without seeing a kangaroo. Meeting them was not a problem for me when I was in the bush. Quite a few times, they happened to sit under the shadow of a tree, hiding there until the evening when it was usually cooler. It was then easy to take a few pictures. The other day, encouraged by the sound of the engine, they stood erect, looking at a car passing by.

When in April 2014 in Istanbul I met Kerem it was clear for me that it could not be our last meeting. His thorough knowledge, knowledge of the area, sense of humor - all this made us not only spend such a good time but also we could see more than twenty species of birds, without any preparation and with the shortage of equipment. Then in April our meeting was somewhat accidental, but when I heard the names of birds’ species he was talking about my eyes were opened widely in amazement.
