I took some pictures of the tree pipit, although frankly speaking the differences between pipits for me are very difficult to determine for the correct identification of the species. Here we have a few images of the tree pipit, perversely not on a tree, that initiate formation of this species gallery on my website. Its wingspan is less than 30 centimeters and the weight of the body is slightly more than 20 grams.

No photos, which would radically change the contents of the gallery have been taken, but I’ve uploaded a recording of the pipit’s sound. All this was a part of many hours’ waiting for the great grey owl. On that day, it was the owl that played the main role, and consequently, I lacked time for taking pictures of a tree pipit that would be worth a 4-star gallery.

Finally! The third my meeting with the Tree pipit turned out to be productive. My photos of Tree pipit so far go to the archives and are replaced with much better, more interesting pictures, and the gallery receives the status of a very good one. I found an individual bird, which accepted my presence at a distance of less than 10 meters. I took most of the photos of the tree pipit while the bird was feeding on the ground. After such changes, the Tree pipit goes to the news on my web site.
