A few, unfortunately documentary pictures, initiated a new gallery of the black-winged patincole on my website. I hope that these pictures will help Artur in the final identification of this bird. Artur congratulations on the observation. Unfortunately, the bird was always quite far, the temperature was nearly 40C and I failed to take better photos. All pictures were taken with a  600 mm lens with converter 2X and still  a substantial   crop was necessary. The photos of the flying bird were taken with a manual focus. What a pity, because the bird is extremely rare in Poland. Black-winged pratincoles live in the south-east Europe, Kazakhstan and south-western Russia. They winter in Africa. The weight of a black-winged pratincole is about 100 gram, and the wingspan is not greater than 70 cm. Because they are such a rarity in Poland, the black-winged pratincole goes to the news category in spite of poor quality photos.
