It would be a fact that we always encountered a rueppell's griffon, a lappet-faced vulture and an African white-backed vulture together. However, the most numerous were African white-backed vultures. They were the first at the carrion and instantly started the meal. But as they had already done so, the rueppell's griffon were almost immediately appearing at the meal. They explained quite quickly and effectively to African vultures that it was their turn now. Sometimes they fed together. All this was watched by the Arabian vulture.

Laughing Dove
Columbidae
There were no problems with taking the photos presented here in Istanbul. It is as commonly found in the area as is the Eurasian Collared Dove in Poland and there is no difficulty finding them. The Laughing Doves are more colourful. The weight of the Laughing Dove is over 100 grams and its wingspan is almost 0,5 metre. Apart from Turkey, it inhabits the Near East ubiquitously as well as India and Sahara. Bardzo dobre |

Laughing Kookaburra
Coraciiformes
When being in eastern Australia it is impossible not to hear and probably not to see the Laughing Kookaburra. I recorded this characteristic voice and it is necessary to listen to it while watching photos in my gallery. I was taking photos of Kookaburra many times, but that one I will remember for a long time. Sleeping in Sydney at the early dawn, when it still was quite dark, I heard not too far a very clear voice of a kookaburra. I got dressed in a hurry, fixed my camera set and went out to the terrace looking for birds. Bardzo dobre |
