Finally the last species of the tit among those which are considered representatives of our fauna, gets into my gallery. We looked for the tit in many places in Mongolia – in vain. It likes shrubbery and water, and it is very difficult to find such conditions in Mongolia. Only near Ulan Bator, in a bend of a river covered with shrubs we found many azure tits. So many pictures were taken that I had plenty to choose from. I also managed to record the azure tit’s sound. Well, I have definitely a reason for satisfaction. Not only such a rare species of the tit occurring in Poland gets into my gallery, but also the content of the gallery is the most interesting among other tits which I had previously photographed. Plus there’s the bird’s sound recording.
Last minute news-02/2018
When the third version of my website was constructed my assumption was to create my author's portfolio based 100% on my own photos, my own recordings and descriptions. And the rule was followed till 20th February 2018, when Marek Kołodziejczyk sent me the picture of the azure tit drawn by himself, which was inspired by my photo. An amazing, beautiful work of art, maybe even more interesting and nicer than the photo itself. Of course I visited his website to see more his works and they impressed me as well. This is why I publish on my website someone else’s work, with his knowledge and consent, but the result of this cooperation is well worth it. I hope it will not end up with the only one picture. Even though I have not added a new photo to the gallery the azure tit goes to the news…
