Returning to the same place does not mean capturing the same species of birds. Pictures of common snipes , wagtails, wood sandpipers or reed buntings that were published in my gallery were taken while I was waiting in fact for a little crake and a spotted crake . So far my attempts to photograph those species failed. Once a little crake almost passed under my lens when I was shooting water rails and that was all. As I do not have this bird in my gallery I attempted to take a picture of it again. And this time it was a failure but my efforts were rewarded by the nature with other species . Close to my location there were large meadows where cows grazed . From time to time a flock of small birds took their wings but they were indistinguishable with all the rapidity of their behavior. I could not see them until the distance was reduced to a few meters . Then they flew up so rapidly that were unrecognizable. Well, I lay down in the lookout and I looked forward to little crakes and spotted crakes. Late in September, however, it is hard to encounter those species - no one bird appeared. I was not able to photograph them, but luckily in the frame of the lens I saw meadow pipits, which I had just passed on my way to the lookouts and had not recognized them. Preying on a swamp dried up a bit is definitely more efficient than searching for food in the grass. Pipits flew up for a quick meal which they ferreted out without any problem. Unfortunately, they were or very social or predatory in relation to each other, because every now and then to quietly preying pipit flew the second one and then both flying continued their argument. This is how this gallery of a new species of bird - meadow pipit was created. A full range of pictures at once and with such an interesting background and light. Sometimes I am lucky to succeed although in fact it was a failure if I take into account my plans and their implementation. The images taken from a few meters show what a beautiful bird a pipit is . Their dynamic behavior on the meadow and the distance they kept did not allow me for such a close observation . Coming out of the lookouts I decided to record the voice of a pipit to complete the image of my gallery. However it did not give out sounds when feeding and my microphone was not used. Only when I was walking through the meadow following- up a group of pipits chasing each other I managed to record a trace of their voices. There was a very strong wind and I had to cover the microphone to record a bird somehow, when it happened that pipits were in this range. So I added a new species with really interesting photos in my opinion, although in the case of pipits in a rather strange environment and with a poor record of their voice. Its weight is about 20 grams , with a wingspan of about 20 centimeters. Welcome to the gallery.
